What is the Old Dude Wanders project?

Well, I'm a guy, or 'dude' if you will.  And I have seen more than 5 decades.  I have done some stuff, and traveled to some places.

Now, as I enter into some new phases of my life, I long to get back out there and see some of the places I have been before, and some of the places that I have only heard about.​

I'm not real sure where I will go, what I will see, or who I will get to talk with along the way.  But when I can, I will share that with you here as well as other places on the web.  As I start to use more and more of the various social networks on the web, I will mention them here and post links to new material as appropriate.

Goals:

  • To seek out new places (and old), new experiences (and familiar) and encounter them with fresh eyes and a seasoned mind.

  • To find the stories and histories of places that may not have been shared often enough, and share them in fun and interesting ways.

  • To make this about the places I go, and less about me.
